Eric W. Burkhardt is a partner in the law firm of Beall & Burkhardt, with his practice focusing on personal and business finances including real estate, estate planning and business bankruptcy law. He was a "Cum Laude" graduate of Pepperdine University Law School in 1987. He graduated from UCSB in 1984 with a major in Communications Studies and a Coaching Minor. His clients include the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors and in 1992 he was the Association's Affiliate of the Year.

Mr. Burkhardt's real estate practice includes advising clients with complex real estate purchase and lease transactions as well as quiet title, easement, view, tree and contractual litigation and arbitration. He also advises clients concerning short sale and foreclosure matters. He has handled real estate matters since 1987.

Mr. Burkhardt's estate planning practice includes preparation of Wills, Trusts, Health Care Directives and Powers of Attorney. He has also represented heirs, administrators and claimants in probate estates and has represented trustees. He has handled estate planning matters since 1987.

Mr. Burkhardt's business bankruptcy practice includes landlord representation in Chapter 11 cases, business and consumer debtor Chapter 7, 11 and 13 cases, general creditor representation and representing Trustees in bankruptcy. In addition to his work representing clients, Mr. Burkhardt has served as a California State Court Bankruptcy expert. He has handled bankruptcy matters since 1990.

Mr. Burkhardt is licensed to practice before all Courts of the State of California, and the Federal District Courts for the Central, Southern and Northern Districts of California.

Mr. Burkhardt is also active in local sports and has coached for over 30 years. He is currently the general manager and assistant coach of the Santa Barbara Breakers Pro Basketball team which has won 5 league championships in 10 years. He has coached boy's basketball and volleyball at Dos Pueblos High School, including the 1990 Boy's Basketball Southern Section CIF Champions when he was named the CIF Southern Section Div III coach of the Year. He has also been the head boy’s basketball coach at Laguna Blanca High School. In addition, he has been on the Board of the Page Youth Center and the Santa Barbara County Bar Association. He also is on the Selection Committee and is one of the founders of the Santa Barbara Court of Champions.
